Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform clinical and biochemical tests as per departmental protocols with minimal supervision.
• Assist senior technologists in implementing laboratory safety protocols based on the Lab Safety Manual.
• Ensure proper quality control by running both negative and positive controls with each batch/test.
• Verify the suitability and receipt of specimens—manually or through software—before proceeding with testing.
• Inoculate and process samples promptly as per lab requirements and guidelines.
• Enter and manage patient data and test information either manually or using the hospital’s system.
• Complete any additional tasks or assignments as directed by the Line Manager or Group Head – Laboratory.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or an equivalent qualification in Medical Technology or related field.
• Experience range of 1 to 3 years in a clinical lab environment is essential for this role.
• Solid understanding of laboratory procedures, safety, and quality assurance.
