Job overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced  Dentist to lead the dental department. In this role, you will deliver clinical care, supervise junior dental staff, implement infection control protocols, and run community outreach programs. Key responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic dental services, including restorative treatments, endodontics, extractions, and minor oral surgery.

  • Lead and supervise dental officers, dental hygienists, and technicians.

  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization standards.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reporting.

  • Organize dental outreach camps and school screening programs to promote oral health.

  • Handle repairs and purchasing of dental devices and essential supplies.

Required qualifications & skills

  • Accredited Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized medical university.

  • Valid dental license/registration with the relevant licensing body.

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience; experience in a public hospital setting preferred.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain patient confidentiality.

Desirable qualifications

  • Postgraduate training or certifications in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or endodontics.

  • Experience in supervising clinical teams and conducting community dental programs.
