The selected Geriatrician at National Hospital Bhakkar will be expected to:
Diagnose, manage, and treat health issues commonly found in elderly patients, such as diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and dementia.
Provide comprehensive treatment plans that address both physical and psychological health needs.
Collaborate with other specialists to ensure holistic care for elderly patients.
Counsel families on elderly care practices and preventive healthcare measures.
Maintain accurate medical records, follow ethical standards, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Promote awareness about geriatric health in the community through patient education.
To qualify for this position, applicants must possess:
MBBS degree with specialization in Geriatrics or Internal Medicine.
Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
At least 3–5 years of experience in treating elderly patients, although highly skilled candidates with less experience may also be considered.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with patients and their families.
