Hematologist — Haral Medical Complex, Chiniot Full Time Job

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Hematologist to join the clinical team at Haral Medical Complex. The successful candidate will manage a broad range of blood disorders, provide hematologic oncology care when required, and offer expert laboratory consultation to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and create evidence-based treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage anemia, thalassemia, hemophilia, and myeloproliferative disorders with evidence-based care.
• Review and interpret hematology laboratory results including CBCs, peripheral smears, bone marrow aspirates/biopsies and flow cytometry.
• Develop and monitor treatment protocols for hematologic malignancies; oversee chemotherapy administration when applicable.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options and follow-up plans clearly to patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical practice.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and maintain accurate medical documentation.

Required qualifications & experience

• MBBS plus MD, FCPS, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Hematology.
• Recognized board certification or equivalent credential preferred.
• Minimum three years’ clinical experience in hematology; hospital-based and chemotherapy experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting bone marrow procedures.
• Excellent communicator with a proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
