ChildLife Foundation is looking for enthusiastic Pediatric Emergency Staff Nurses to strengthen emergency services at its partner hospitals in Punjab. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for nursing professionals who want to turn their compassion and clinical expertise into meaningful action for children in urgent need.

Your Role

You will be part of a fast-paced pediatric emergency team, delivering timely and effective care to young patients. Duties include initial assessments, life-saving interventions, and close coordination with physicians and allied health staff. Accurate patient documentation and adherence to safety standards are critical to ensuring quality care at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and follow uniform policy.
• Conduct precise shift handovers and manage patient data in HMIS and EMR.
• Monitor vital signs in real-time; alert ER physicians for critical cases.
• Administer prescribed medications, adhering to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with pharmacy for emergency drugs; ensure proper documentation.
• Restock crash carts and maintain hygiene by replacing sheets after each patient.
• Oversee sanitation staff for disinfection and instrument sterilization.
• Follow up on lab and radiology reports; update EMR promptly.
• Enhance clinical expertise through certified courses such as BLS, PALS, and PEMCN.
• Handle patient admissions, transfers, and discharges per hospital guidelines.
