Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and treatment using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mechanical devices.
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and nursing staff on rehabilitation protocols and preventive strategies.
• Maintain and ensure the proper use of physical therapy equipment and supplies.
• Manage and update patient physiotherapy records and documentation accurately.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure daily startup and shutdown protocols are followed.
• Engage in quality control, assurance, and risk management for physiotherapy services.
• Prepare reports on inpatient and outpatient therapy sessions, survey evaluations, and discharge feedback.
• Forward feedback (complaints, compliments, suggestions) from patients or attendants to the Senior Physiotherapist.
• Report shift-related updates to the supervisor, particularly patient concerns or census changes.
• Contribute to department operations by creating and presenting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and staff data at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by hospital administration.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years, preferably in both outpatient and inpatient settings of a tertiary care hospital.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Knowledge of physiotherapy equipment and modern rehabilitation practices.
