Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Full Time Job

Job Description:

Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Wazirabad is seeking a dedicated, competent, and highly motivated Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to become an integral part of our medical team. The ideal candidate will work closely under the guidance and supervision of senior consultants to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across various clinical departments. Responsibilities will include conducting patient rounds, recording medical histories, assisting in diagnostic procedures, managing emergency cases, and ensuring smooth clinical operations during assigned shifts. The RMO will also play a key role in coordinating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality treatment and maintain continuity of care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line medical care to patients presenting in the emergency and inpatient wards.
• Conduct initial examinations and document patient histories accurately.
• Liaise with specialists for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Track patients’ recovery and update treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal care.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of medical records.
• Promptly respond to emergencies, following hospital protocols.
• Participate in medical audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MBBS from a PMDC/PMC-recognized institution.
• Valid PMC registration (provisional or full).
• House job (1 year) completed in a recognized teaching hospital.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of performing effectively under pressure and adapting to rotational shift schedules.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling general medical and emergency cases.
• Proficient in using hospital management systems and electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.
• Basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
