Position Overview

DHQ Hospital Gilgit Baltistan invites applications from highly skilled and experienced Surgeons to become a vital part of our dynamic surgical department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical expertise, sound decision-making skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures across general and specialized categories in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients.
• Work with the surgical team to deliver safe, effective care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to departmental audits.
• Participate in surgical ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Train and guide junior doctors and trainees.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and surgical techniques through continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
• FCPS, MS, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Surgery.
• Valid PMDC/PMC registration.
• At least 3–5 years of surgical experience in a hospital.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-demand clinical environments.
