DHQ Teaching Hospital Sargodha is currently seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Physical Wellness Specialist to join our dynamic Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about enhancing patients’ quality of life through evidence-based physical therapy and rehabilitative care.

As a Physical Wellness Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing the physical condition and therapeutic needs of patients recovering from surgery, illness, or physical trauma. Your core responsibilities will include conducting detailed evaluations, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and applying a wide range of therapeutic techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.

You will work closely with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, neuro-rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and manual therapy techniques. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a dedication to patient-centered care are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the physical conditions of patients and develop treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy treatments.
• Guide patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and effective home-based care routines.
• Document patient progress and coordinate with physicians.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and patient care.
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

• DPT from an HEC-recognized university.
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Physical Therapy Council (PPTC).
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
