Job Summary:

Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), a recognized leader in healthcare and medical education across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is currently inviting applications for the position of a highly skilled and detail-focused Clinical Laboratory Technologist. As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will carry out a wide range of sophisticated laboratory tests, analyses, and quality control procedures essential for identifying and managing various diseases. Your expertise will contribute significantly to physicians’ ability to make precise clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling biological samples with utmost accuracy, operating and maintaining state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct biochemical, hematological, microbiological, and molecular tests as per standard procedures.
• Ensure proper sample collection, handling, and documentation.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports for physicians and consultants.
• Participate in quality checks (internal & external).
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in research-based diagnostic studies when required.

Qualifications:

• BS (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institute.
• At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical laboratory setup.
• Fresh graduates with internships from reputable institutions may also apply.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of clinical pathology techniques
• Attention to detail and accuracy in testing
• Ability to use automated lab analyzers and software
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Familiarity with ISO 15189 standards (preferred)
