Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our specialist medical team and play a pivotal role in advancing patient-centered care in our facility. As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for the comprehensive diagnosis, management, and treatment of patients presenting with a wide spectrum of digestive tract conditions and disorders, including inflammatory bowel diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, chronic liver conditions, and functional bowel disorders. Your expertise will support accurate diagnoses through advanced endoscopic procedures and state-of-the-art imaging technologies, ensuring that each patient receives a personalized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of internists, surgeons, dietitians, and nursing staff to deliver integrated care that emphasizes both medical excellence and patient comfort. Beyond clinical responsibilities, you will also contribute to research initiatives, continuous medical education, and the development of innovative treatment protocols aimed at improving gastrointestinal health outcomes. Candidates should possess exceptional diagnostic acumen, proficiency in therapeutic endoscopic interventions, and a deep commitment to advancing evidence-based medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer specialized care to inpatients and outpatients with GI conditions.
• Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
• Work with the internal medicine team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Contribute to the training of junior doctors and medical students.
• Maintain patient records and follow hospital protocols.
• Participate in case reviews, audits, and clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MBBS from a recognized institution (PMDC-verified).
• FCPS, MRCP, or equivalent in Gastroenterology.
• Valid PMDC registration.
• Preferably 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
