Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital, Wazirabad Campus is actively seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our highly respected Diagnostic Services Department. This is a vital role in supporting accurate and timely patient diagnosis through the performance of high-quality laboratory testing and analysis.

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, urine, and other bodily fluids to help physicians detect, diagnose, and treat diseases. Your duties will include operating sophisticated laboratory equipment, analyzing test results with precision, and ensuring that all procedures comply with established medical and safety standards.

The candidate must have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be expected to follow strict protocols, maintain quality control measures, and contribute to continuous improvements in lab operations. Team collaboration and excellent communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals are also essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) using advanced laboratory techniques.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments, including centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and analyzers.
• Prepare reagents and solutions required for various diagnostic tests.
• Record and validate test results in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, cleanliness, and biosafety guidelines.
• Assist the pathology team with internal audits and quality control processes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BSc MLT).
• Preferably 1+ year of lab experience; fresh grads encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology testing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced hospital environment.
