Role Overview

In Lahore, the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) is recognized as a leading institution for state-of-the-art cardiac services in Punjab. We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and highly committed Part-Time Pharmacist to manage our hospital pharmacy during morning hours. This role ensures patients receive safe, accurate medication while maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.

As a Part-Time Pharmacist, you will oversee the medication dispensing process. Your duties include reviewing prescriptions, verifying dosages, and preventing drug interactions. Moreover, you will maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent medicine shortages.

Additionally, you will provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and adherence to treatment plans. By doing so, you will support patient safety and encourage better treatment outcomes.

Collaboration and Environment

You will work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. The position demands integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Shift Details

This is a morning shift position (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). It is ideal for pharmacists passionate about contributing to cardiac patient care in a respected healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and restock medicines as required.
• Offer medication counseling and address patient queries.
• Maintain proper documentation of all dispensed drugs.

Requirements

• Applicants should possess a valid B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree.
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Pharmacy Council (PPC).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
